Steam Mops Review

It’S not a sponsored video! I just heard about this and decided to give it a try. I hate mopping and using the big old mop and just putting it all over the floor and then being lazy and using like a sweater, and you don’t even need to use any cleaners.

It just uses hot water to sanitize the floor and just I don’t know how I’ve never heard of this before. So. If I love this – and this is on a gardening channel – maybe you’ll love it too um, but let’s see how it works.

Give it a little give it a little try. First opening the package, it comes with two reusable options from old cups. I’m gonna just uh put this together. Real quick use, some youtube magic that was easier to put together than I thought it just came with.

Three sections the handle, the middle, and the end they all just snapped together. It does have this lift, handle to adjust the knots and make sure your floors are swept or vacuumed prior to using the mop.

Just a side note: uh do not leave your steam pocket mop unattended during use all right next direction. Uh plug in the mop into an electrical outlet um the power on light will illuminate. It takes practical system at least 30 seconds for the mop to heat up and steam to be ready, i’ll, let you know when it’s done all right.

So, while heating up, i decided to you, know, need more instructions. What a nerd, it does say, pump the handle a few times in a downward motion. Uh the pumping action will really steam it steam as you mop, and allow us to customize you to customize the amount of steam.

You want begin mopping with a forward and backwards motion. The natural motion of mopping will produce steam and you can also flip the mop around to use the other side. The water tank is empty. You can refill the water tank, but i wonder how long it takes for the water tank to empty.

You know what i mean is like five minute. Ten minutes, i guess depends on how much steam you want. It’S probably a good idea to sanitize the meds. I mean it doesn’t say for sanitizing to sanitize, so it’s not sanitizing when it’s just steaming also has to sanitize start with a clean pocket pad wait 30 seconds for it to heat up check what we’re doing pump the mop handle a few times in a downward Motion which we already went over it says start mopping on an approximated, sealed hardwood floor surface with a forward and backward motion.

After three minutes, your unit is ready to be used to sanitize, so you must have to use it for three minutes before it can sanitize idea um, but okay and using a forward and backwards motion over the area you seek to sanitize, it says: use distilled water.

Only distilled water – i’m not gonna – buy fancy water for my mop to drink because it does not recommend um, regular water for calcium and mineral deposits building up in the mop, i do have a shallow, well um.

So obviously i’m worried about that. But i do have a water filter, uh perky, not sponsored either. I wish i were um that i love so i’ll. Probably just use fancy water that fancy water in my mop all right, so i’m gonna lay this flat to fill it.

I’M gonna twist off all right got my all-natural uh, filtered berkey water, so tasty you could drink out of it. I already hydrated before this video, so it’s okay taking off lid, can’t really reminder not to accidentally spill your water.

So we got our little tank here. I’M gonna fill up, it says, lay flat, so be careful facing it. Impressions there’s still a decent amount of water in here i did about three minutes. So it’s probably time you know it’s able to sanitize.

So i’m definitely going to go over it again. I just wanted to plug it to talk about it and look look at all that dirt disgusting, so i’m going to flip it over. So i can use the other side and go over once more to sanitize and also to see if it left a lot of dirt behind.

I don’t know if i said this – the first time um, so it took me about three minutes to do my big back hallway uh each pass, and i do like that it doesn’t use a lot of water like the ground is able to dry pretty quick um.

So i enjoyed that this is the pad, so this was the first time this was the second clean um, so obviously still a little dirty, it’s like in all my mopping. So it’s probably my own fault. I’M gonna use the second mop pad.

For my kitchen, you don’t need to see that overall, i really enjoyed this. My arm did get tired with you know the pumping action which i expect so um. If you have like shoulder issues or even arm issues, um, potentially even back issues, because you got to put your back into it a little bit, it might not be for you, you probably have to spend more money on one that doesn’t require the pumping.

I think the next one up doesn’t but don’t listen to me, because i have no idea overall, 60 from amazon for this shark mop. I think i’d recommend
